About

The +COHESION – Innovative Knowledge Methodologies for Cooperation and Optimization of Education in São Tomé and Príncipe project is part of the Erasmus+ action Capacity Building in Higher Education and aims to contribute to the modernization of training models in strategic areas for the country’s development, particularly education and nursing. Building on the results of the European project ENCLEBP, it focuses on promoting competencies in Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) through curriculum transformation, the creation of innovative pedagogical resources, and the training of higher education faculty. The project is grounded in a framework of international cooperation between European and São Toméan institutions, seeking to address the gap between academic training and the demands of the professional context, while strengthening the quality, relevance, and sustainability of training processes. By combining contextual diagnosis, training, piloting of practices, and a results-oriented monitoring system, +COHESION aims to generate a lasting impact on the professional development of teachers and nurses, as well as on the improvement of higher education institutions in São Tomé and Príncipe.
