Sérgio Veludo Coelho, Professor Adjunto dos quadros da Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico do Porto (ESE/P.Porto), é docente no Curso de Gestão do Património desta escola e no Mestrado em Património, Artes e Turismo Cultural; Licenciado em Ciências Históricas na Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique, no Porto com o seminário “As fortificações do Cerco do Porto: 1832-1833 “ premiado com Menção Honrosa do Prémio de História Contemporânea Vítor de Sá 1995, da Universidade do Minho; Mestre em História Moderna na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto com o trabalho intitulado “Figurinos Militares da Regeneração, Aparência e Realidade 1848-1892”; pós-graduado em História Militar pela Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa; Doutorado em História na Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique com a tese “Arsenais Reais de Lisboa e Porto 1800-1814”, galardoado com o prémio Defesa Nacional 2010, pela Comissão Portuguesa de História Militar; Investigador Integrado do Centro de Investigação e Inovação em Educação da Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico do Porto; investigador do Núcleo de Estudos de Arte e Património da Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico do Porto; Investigador colaborador do CITAR/Escola das Artes UCP Presidente da Associação de Amigos do Arquivo Distrital do Porto; Sócio da Liga dos Amigos do Museu Militar do Porto; Sócio fundador da Associação Napoleónica Portuguesa; Membro do Grupo de Recriação Histórica do Município de Almeida. Sérgio Veludo Coelho, Adjunct Professor at Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico do Porto (ESE / P.Porto), is a lecturer in the Heritage Management Course of this school and in the Master in Heritage, Arts and Cultural Tourism; Degreee in Historical Sciences at the Portucalense University Infante D. Henrique, in Porto with the seminar "The fortifications of the Siege of Porto: 1832-1833" awarded with Honorable Mention of the Prize of Contemporary History Vítor de Sá 1995, of the University of Minho; Master in Modern History at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto with the work entitled "Military Costumes of Regeneration, Appearance and Reality 1848-1892"; post-graduate in Military History from the Lusíada University of Lisbon; Doctorate (Ph.D) in History at the Portucalense University Infante D. Henrique, with the thesis "Royal Arsenals of Lisbon and Porto 1800-1814", awarded the National Defense Award 2010 by the Portuguese Committee on Military History; Integrated Researcher of the Center for Research and Innovation in Education at the Polytechnic School of Porto; researcher of the Nucleus of Studies of Art and Heritage of the School of Education of the Polytechnic of Porto; Collaborating researcher at CITAR / Escola de Artes UCP President of the Association of Friends of the District Archives of Porto; Partner of the League of Friends of the Military Museum of Porto; Founding member of the Portuguese Napoleonic Association; Member of the Historical Recreation Group of the Municipality of Almeida.
