Ana Barbosa and Isabel Vale, researchers from inED and CIEC respectively, participated in the annual meeting of the European MATRIX project, which took place in Seville from May 8 to 10, 2026.
The MATRIX project – Math Trails with an Inclusive Perspective on Students’ Experiences, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, brings together European partners committed to promoting more inclusive, meaningful, and contextualized mathematics learning through math trails and the use of the MathCityMap platform.
During the meeting, the main project outcomes, dissemination strategies, new platform features, and future development possibilities for MathCityMap were discussed.
This participation reinforces inED’s commitment to:
- innovative and inclusive educational practices;
- promoting mathematics learning in authentic contexts;
- the development of collaborative European projects;
- and the enhancement of learning experiences beyond the classroom.
