Mariana Lucas Casanova in the LEO-NET Annual Seminar 2026

The Centre for Research & Innovation in Education (inED) highlights the participation of researcher Mariana Lucas Casanova in the LEO-NET Annual Seminar 2026, held in Valencia, Spain.

A psychologist and researcher at inED, Mariana Lucas Casanova has more than 20 years of experience working with higher education students and graduates, developing a social justice-oriented approach to career development. Her work examines how socioeconomic and political factors shape access to opportunities, and she has also led European Union-funded projects aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, including migrants and young people with disabilities.

In her presentation, she explores the role of higher education institutions in integrating sustainability and equity into career guidance and internship practices, promoting more inclusive and responsible career pathways.
