Visual Arts and Artistic Technologies Laboratory | ESE P.PORTO
Objectives
The Visual Arts and Artistic Technologies Laboratory offers a dynamic and creative environment where participants can explore the intersection between art and technology.
Over time this laboratory has been updated and equipped with state-of-the-art pedagogical resources with regard to teaching and artistic production.
The main specific objectives are:
- Encourage Creativity and Artistic Experimentation: through the exploration of techniques and technological resources, the aim is to provide students with the opportunity to experiment with a variety of artistic techniques (Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics...) and emerging technologies (e.g. industrial format 3D printing, digital design tools and multimedia equipment).
- Promoting collaborative work: creating a space where students, artists and designers can collaborate on projects, exchange ideas and inspire each other, promoting innovation through a diversity of perspectives and skills.
- Supporting the development of interdisciplinary projects: encouraging the creation of works that integrate different disciplines, such as bringing together art and science, art and engineering, or art and the humanities, exploring new modes of artistic expression and communication.
- Fostering Artistic Culture and Individual Expression: through the regular organisation of exhibitions and art shows, so that participants can present their work to the public, receive feedback and build a professional portfolio.
