The InED Usability Lab at ESEC aims to test and evaluate the interaction of real users with digital products such as websites, applications, systems and devices. The lab's main function is to provide valuable insights into the day-to-day use of these products, identifying possible difficulties and opportunities for improvement.
Using a user-centred approach, the lab carries out tests in a controlled environment, using methods such as direct observation, video recordings and interviews, as well as various biometric sensors. The test sessions make it possible to assess not only ease of use, but also efficiency, effectiveness and the level of satisfaction people feel when interacting with the product.
The lab's ultimate goal is to improve the user experience in terms of applied research, ensuring that the design and interaction are intuitive and work naturally for the target audience.
