In July 2026, another edition of the Porto International Conference on Research in Education - ICRE'26 will return, between the 21st and 24th. The 21st of July will be exclusively online, and the in-person conference will begin on the afternoon of the 22nd of July.

Porto ICRE'26 is organised by the Centre for Research and Innovation in Education (inED) of the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, a structure that brings together researchers from different interrelated areas of knowledge who contribute to the comprehensive, consistent and systematic study of Education.

At this conference, the centrality of education takes into account the Sustainable Development Goals, contributing in particular to the discussion on quality education, well-being as an indicator of success, diversity as a guiding principle of training and educational practices, and artificial intelligence as a pressing challenge in educational contexts.
