Qual é o papel do diretor, como mobilizador da motivação dentro da comunidade educativa, em particular nos docentes? Um estudo de caso num Colégio Privado na periferia do Porto.

Intitulada por “qual o papel do diretor, como mobilizador da motivação dentro da comunidade educativa, em particular nos docentes?”, o nosso estudo visa analisar quais as áreas privilegiadas da intervenção do diretor na dinâmica organizacional sobretudo em questões relacionadas com os fatores humanos refletidos nos docentes, ou seja, tentar perceber se a maneira de pensar e de agir do diretor tem alguma ligação com a motivação dos seus docentes. Com esta interligação pressupõe-se analisar que tipo de comportamento deve ser assegurado pelo diretor do colégio, a fim de manter uma organização saudável e próspera.
Trata-se de um estudo de caso, que incidiu num Colégio Privado, situado na periferia do Porto.
Com o intuito de contextualizar o objeto de estudo deste trabalho, começaremos por abordar modelos teóricos sobre os temas em questão, como a motivação e sua influência no comportamento. Também será integrado um pequeno capítulo relacionado com o diretor/líder da organização educativa.
Como recolha de dados, utilizou-se o método de pesquisa qualitativo, através da administração de uma entrevista ao diretor e um questionário semiaberto aos docentes, sendo que a população em estudo é bastante reduzida, constituída apenas por 20 docentes.
A informação recolhida indica não só a relação entre o diretor e os docentes como também apura se a motivação dos docentes, no colégio em estudo, está interligada com o comportamento do seu diretor.
Entitled "What is the role of the director as a mobilize of motivation within the educational community, particularly on teachers?", our study aims to analyze the privileged areas of the director's intervention in the organizational dynamics, especially in questions related to the human factors reflected in the study of the role of the director, as a leader of the motivation within the educational community, in particular in the teachers, in other words, to try to understand if the director's way of thinking and acting has some connection with the motivation of his teachers. With this interconnection it is assumed to analyze what kind of behavior should be ensured by the head of the college in order to maintain a healthy and prosperous organization.
This is a case study, which is focused on a Private College, located on the surroundings of Porto.
In order to contextualize the object of study of this work, we will start by addressing theoretical models about the subjects in question, such as motivation and its influence on behavior. It will also be integrated a small chapter related to the director / leader of the educational organization,
As a data collection, the qualitative research method was used, through the administration of an interview to the director and a semi-open questionnaire to the teachers, being that the study population is very small, consisting only of 20 teachers.
The information gathered indicates not only the relationship between the director and the teachers but also determines if the motivation of the teachers in the college under study is intertwined with the behavior of its director.
