Claudia Maria Freitas de Bakker Doctors participates in collective or individual exhibitions in institutions and galleries (https://www.bolsadearte.com/artistas/perfil/claudia-bakker/) and also develops research work, writing mainly in the areas of contemporary art and art history. She attended Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro, in the early 90s, has a master's degree in Image Technology from ECO/UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) and a PhD in Visual Languages from EBA/UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). Her most recent seminar, held on March 8, 2024 , at Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, focused on the role of women, in the invention of photography in Europe and contemporary art (Land Art) in North America. As an inED collaborator, she is associated with a project (The [in]visibility of women in the History of Art and Culture – thoughts, works and actions) by Prof. Dr. Maria de Fátima Lambert.
