Terapeuta Ocupacional, Doutorada em Psicologia pela Universidade do Porto (2012). É Professora Adjunta na Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico do Porto. Desde 2010, tem estado envolvida em vários projectos de investigação nacionais e internacionais no dominio das politicas e práticas educacionais inclusivas e no estudo da incapacidade. Dedicada em particular ao tema da habilitação ambiental, os seus trabalhos de investigação focam o estudo de perfis de funcionamento e a sistematização de variáveis ambientais facilitadoras da participação e inclusão social de crianças e jovens com necessidades adicionais de suporte. 

 

Occupational Therapist, Ph.D. in Psychology by the University of Porto (2012). She is Adjunct Professor in the Porto Polytechnic School of Education. Since 2010, she has been involved in several national and international projects in the field of inclusive educational practices and policies; and in the study of disabilities. Particularly dedicated to the environment enablement, her scientific work is focused on the study of functioning profiles and on the systematization of environmental factors that may facilitate the social participation and inclusion of children and youth with additional support needs.
