We share another publication in the scientific journal Motricidade (Scopus Q3):

πŸ“ Title: The forgotten world of coaching masters sport in Portugal: implications for research and practice

πŸ‘₯ The article explores the role of master (adult) sport in Portugal and its importance for healthy ageing and the lifelong well-being of athletes. Despite its potential, training in master sport remains an under-explored area β€” and this is what we seek to discuss, reflecting on relevant implications for coaches, researchers and decision-makers.

⚠️ In a context where competitive sport continues to have significant cultural weight, we argue that it can and should be reconciled with the holistic and healthy development of adult athletes.

We are pleased to share the publication of an article in the journal Educational Process: International Journal (Scopus Q2) πŸ“šβœ¨

πŸ“ Title: From Potential to Practice: Training as a Promoter of Self-Efficacy in Computational Thinking for Pre-service Primary School Teachers

πŸ‘©β€πŸ« This study assesses the impact of a 9-month training programme on the self-efficacy in Computational Thinking of future primary school teachers.

The research revealed significant gains in the dimensions of Abstraction, Reasoning, Decomposition and Generalisation β€” essential skills for teaching Computational Thinking with confidence.

πŸ”Ž The article reinforces the importance of designing training programmes that not only develop skills but also promote teacher self-efficacy β€” a key factor for successful implementation in the classrooms of the future.

πŸ“Œ Published in an international journal of high scientific rigour (Scopus Q2), this work is another step towards enhancing teacher training and educational innovation in Portugal.
