Clara Amorim é professora auxiliar na Escola Superior de Educação da Universidade Politécnica de Viana do Castelo e investigadora integrada no Centro de Linguística da Universidade do Porto. Doutorada em Linguística, desenvolve investigação nesta área, em particular em aquisição de L1 e L2, Fonologia e Linguística Educacional, com trabalho publicado em revistas nacionais e internacionais, bem como no âmbito do desenvolvimento de materiais didáticos para o ensino do Português como Língua Materna e Não Materna.

Clara Amorim is an Assistant Professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic University of Viana do Castelo and an Integrated Researcher at the Centre of Linguistics of the University of Porto. She holds a PhD in Linguistics and conducts research in this field, particularly in first and second language acquisition (L1 and L2), Phonology, and Educational Linguistics. Her work has been published in national and international journals and includes the development of teaching materials for Portuguese as both a First Language and a Non-Native Language.
