Pós-Graduação em Ciências Médico-Legais, pelo Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar.

Doutorada em Educação, na Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, com protocolo com a Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Técnica de Educação.

She has been a civil servant at the Social Services of the Technical University of Porto since 2009.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Education and a Master's degree in Education and Social Intervention, specialising in Psychosocial Action in Risk Contexts, from the School of Education of the Polytechnic of Porto.

She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Medical Sciences from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences.

She completed her PhD in Education at the University of Santiago de Compostela under a joint protocol with the Faculty of Education of the Technical University of Porto.

She is a Collaborating Researcher at inED – Centre for Research and Innovation in Education and was awarded a doctoral research fellowship by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) (Grant No. 2020.08204.BD).
