Dora Cristina Moreira Martins is a Full Professor with a PhD in Business Sciences, specializing in Organisation and Human Resources from the School of Economics and Management of University of Porto (2011). She teaches Human Resources management in both undergraduate and master’s degrees at Porto Accounting and Business School from the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ISCAP-P.Porto). She has been a faculty member at P.Porto since 2000 and at Porto Business School since 2009.

She has been a research member at GOVCOPP (University of Aveiro) since 2010, at CEOS.PP (Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of Polytechnic of Porto) since 2017 and at inED (Centre for Research and Innovation in Education) since 2026.

Dora Martins’ research output includes several scientific papers and conference communications, with 32 publications indexed in Web of Science and/or Scopus, as well as 19 book chapters published. She participates in several international conferences as an author.

Her main research subjects include expatriate management, talent management, skills and competences for work in the digital age. She is also the Director of the MSc in Human Resources Management and Development since 2011. Additionally, she serves as a peer reviewer for international scientific journals, such as the International Journal of Human Resources Management and Personnel Review.
