Celda Maria Gonçalves Morgado concluiu o doutoramento em Linguística na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto em 2014. É Professora Catedrática na Universidade Técnica do Porto. É investigadora do inED – Centro de Investigação e Inovação em Educação, da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Técnicado Porto, e investigadora colaboradora do CLUP – Centro de Linguística da Universidade do Porto. Desenvolve investigação nas áreas da Sintaxe e da Morfossintaxe das línguas orais e gestuais, promovendo também projetos de linguística aplicada ao ensino em geral e, em particular, ao ensino da gramática e da compreensão da leitura. É autora de diversas publicações científicas nacionais e internacionais e tem (co)organizado vários encontros científicos nas suas áreas de especialidade. É Coordenadora da Licenciatura em Educação Básica e Subcoordenadora do Mestrado em Ensino da Língua Gestual Portuguesa, desenvolvido em parceria com a Universidade Católica Portuguesa, em Lisboa.

Celda Maria Gonçalves Morgado. Completed her PhD in Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto in 2014. Is Full Professor in the Technical University of Porto. Is researcher in the Center for Research and Innovation in Education (inED) of the Faculty of Education of the Technical University of Porto and collaborator at the Centre of Linguistics of the University of Porto (CLUP - Centro de Linguística da Universidade do Porto). She develops research in the areas of Syntax and Morphosyntax of oral and sign languages, in addition to promoting applied linguistics projects to teaching, in general, and to the teaching of grammar and reading comprehension, in particular. She is a researcher with several national and international publications, having (co)organized several meetings in her areas of expertise. She is Coordinator of the bacherol program in Basic Education and Sub-coordinator of the Master in Teaching at LGP (in partnership with the UCP in Lisbon).
